fix: direct messaging sometimes doesn't open up a chat

In the earlier design, we managed the local currentTab state, which was synced based on various conditions like private chat data and talking stick mode. When opening a private chat via the 'Messages' tab, we populated the Redux state with information about the chat scope, which remained unchanged even when switching tabs to preserve the open chat within the 'Messages' tab. However, this caused an issue when opening a chat from the 'People' tab. Although the chat scope information was updated, it remained identical, preventing the component from triggering a re-render.
